I’m a software engineer with 16 years experience. I care about my craft and I’m passionate about delivering value to my clients, producing high quality software and finding ways to continuously improve. It’s been suggested that I’m a good communicator, something that I consider to be at the heart of great software delivery. I value pragmatism, modern development techniques and tools, automation, pair programming and a healthy dose of technical debate. I consider myself fortunate to read technical books for both pleasure and purpose.

Beyond tech, I have an interest in photography, rugby league, climbing, cycling, triathlons, skiing/snowboarding, good food and keeping fit. Given more time and a larger pot of fun coupons, I’d also take up sky diving.
